Lot 17: The Site
Our goal is to maximize the site in every way possible. We want the building to fit the site in as much as possible while retaining the functionality that we need in each living space.
- meadow: We plan to create a meadow that can be used as a 'view' from some rooms.
- rock outcroppings: we'd love to preserve as many of the rock-outcroppings as possible. Perhaps these will have some outdoor lighting to dramatize them. they can also provide a 'view' from some rooms
- hot tub: we'd like to find the perfect spot on the lot for a hot tub deck. Big views would be nice. Easy access from the master bedroom is veyr important. We will use this in the winter as much as any other time of the year. Hot-tub deck should include benches and if possible, robe hooks.
